Now I most certainly can't let this forum go without having one of these right?
I have my theories on book 7 written somewhere, which I will have to dig up and post later. But I was wondering if any of you had some of your own youd like to share as well?
Will Harry bite the big one? Why did he live? Whats gonna go down in book 7?
Lets dicuss our theories here :)
I hvae watched all the movies and Read the Order Of the Phoenix but I have not gone past that. SO I could not tell you. I how ever see something dark in harry that Might come out at some point.

From what i can see i am thinking that Harry Potter turns evil at the end. I think i read this on the offical site and it was hinted at. Nothing more though so dont take it to heart.

I think Harry will live, as will Ron and Hermione. Pretty sure Snape will be one of the deaths, not sure about the other, but I imagine it'll be one of the adults, most likely one that was kind of a passing figure in previous books but then suddenly has a big role.

Mkay, Ive sorted out this imbroglio of Harry Potter (yes I am an HP fan, bite me) lol, anyways, Ive got this sorted out....
The Matter of Dumbledore...
no, No, NO! These words fled through my mind upon reading of his untimely accident. However, it is doubtful that Dumbledore is dead. Just a few examples can corroborate this theory.
Upon entering the Horcrux Cave, Harry noted that when the water stopped rippling, it stopped to suddenly. One may also note that the Draught of the Living Dead potion is completly translucent, pretty much giving the impression of water. Could Dumbledore be asleep inside his sarcophagus? While the potion is generally supposed to take effect immediatley, Dumbledore does have stronger powers and most likely, a stronger resisitance to certain genres of magic. Key reference point is easily, the Gaunt Ring.
Another idea involves our good ex-Death Eater friend, Severus Snape. Yes, I believe him to be wholly innocent. Cue point to the tower scene. Malfoy bursts is and dearms Dumbledore after Dumbledore silently freezes Harry. But WHY? Why would Dumbledore freeze Harry when Harry could easily get the word out, invisible and undetected. Because Harry is there to see the 'grand finale' of Albus Dumbledore. So, we know that Dumbledore's wand flew over the edge. Malfoy and Dumbledore have a little chit chat over this and that and Dumbledore comes to a surprising and rather hinting conclusion to Malfoy's problems. He discusses hiding Malfoy to where no one from the evil side of magic could ever hope to find him. He also includes Malfoy's mother in this. Well this seems a mite bit odd on my part, almost as if The Order has done this sort of thing before. Could that not be setting the scene for the untimely loss of Dumbledore who's really not lost at all? Well we get a few Death Eaters in the scene, and whoop dee doo, just a bunch of taunting! Well enter stage left, Severus Snape! Fwootcha! He sends kills Dumbledore in one swift movement and Dumbledore collapses slowly towards the ground. Ha ha, BUT NO!!! Thats not how the magic of this world works. Avada Kadavra (the killing curse) emits a green blinding light and the victim falls to the floor, dead as a doornail. But, Dumbledore was thrown back! The Killing Curse makes the victim fall where they stand, not get thrown back! It is therefore my assumption that Snape also issued a nonverbal spell, possibly Expelliarmus but we're not picky, with the Avada Kedavra. Now wouldnt the curse itself kill Dumbledore anyways? Not neccesarily as exhibited in the 4th book, the curses really have no effect unless you really want to kill. So there we have a prime open window! Doesn't Harry feel the spell lift from him? Indeed he does, but there lies another funny little loophole. Dumbledore's wand went over the edge of the castle! So as Dumbledore landed softly on the castle green (most likely aided by Fawkes as phoenixes can bear extremley heavy loads) he easily could have removed the spell from Harry then. Then there is the issue of the body. Where would one obtain the corpse to blind the entire wizarding community. Ha, easily done as hinted in the 4th book. The Junior Barty Crouch, transformed the Senior Barty Crouch into a bone, and hid his body in the forest. So, Dumbledore easily could have set up a body and made his getaway, and therefore leaves the story.... for the meantime.
Other Hints!!!
Dobby himself made a statement that he would throw himself from the topmost tower. A rather interesting statement as the topmost tower was the scene of the fall od Dumbledore and Dobby does pick up things around the castle that no one is supposed to hear
No one bothered searching for Dumbledore's wand, a highly valued item to the wizarding work (though I seriously doubt there is a WizardrYbay)
The Unbreakable Vow- Ha, read between the lines my pretties, you never hear exactly what the vow is over! It could be the death of Dumbledore or it easily could have been on getting Death Eaters into Hogwarts...
Let me know what you think! More to come soon!

When I woke up this morning, the thing that flashed through my mind was ', I think I'll split my soul today!'...
Yes the seven elusive pieces of Voldemort's soul, ahh. A mysterious topic in the Harry Potter world, lets look at a few ideas shall we?
Horcrux Numero Uno!
The Diary of Tom Riddle
Status- Destroyed
Yup we know of this little enchating read. Not one of Harper Collin's best releases but gripping nonetheless...
Horcrux Number 2
The Gaunt Ring
Status- Destroyed
Again, we have another destroyed horcrux. Though one may speculate it was the work of Tiffany's, I assure you, it was a Voldemort item.
Horcrux Number 3
The Slytherin Locket
Status- Out & About
Well after the enchanting little escapade, resulting in finding a fake horcrux, we now have no earthly idea where the locket is... Or do we? Hence enters the R.A.B. mystery. Who the hell could it be? Well we have a little guess here at the imbroglio factory. Regelus Black. Oh yes! This theory is only strengthend by the fact of translation. So in other versions, the name of Black changed, as did the corresponding initials. And if we go a little nostalgic, housecleaning in Grimmauld Place was terrible, though we did come across an enchanting little memento, a locket. Could this be the same?
Horcrux Numero Quatro
Hufflepuff's Cup
Status- Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Quite Literally, we know not where this artifact is. But, I'll share a few little guesses with you in a bit!
So we pass into the realm of just plain guessing, away from the world of the known horcruxes. Lets see our beautiful candidates shall we?
Let me first start off with the world of Tarot. There are four basic categories. Swords, Pentacles, Wands, and Cups. Wohoho, here we have a number of possibilities.
Swords- Gryffindors? I know not but it seems a likely possibility
Pentacles- Pentacles are meant to represent wealth and power, no doubt an allusion to the Slytherin Locket.
Wands- Where oh Where has my Wandmaker gone? Oh where oh where could he be? YES, I am talking of our beloved Mr. Olivander, purveyor of fine wands, yes. Mkay, so, Voldy's on the rise and Ollivander no doubt knows why! So, could he be keeping a relic, maybe a wand? Indeed yes! Note the wand on the purple cushion that Harry saw as he entered Ollivander's for the very first time! Could this be the wand of Rowena Ravenclaw?
Cups- Completley Obvious! A Hufflepuff Cup no doubt.
Nagini- Likely, seeing as how she and Voldy are pretty much inseperable. However she is a mortal snake and Im doubting that Voldy would want to keep something so prescious in something so vulnerable.
The Basilisk- Makes perfect sense as a great serpent beastie is sure to catch the fancy of a Dark Lord.
Harry Himself?- This is a rather strange theory I have heard of. Let me point this out, it doesnt seem likely. Voldy went to Godric's Hollow with the exact purpose of killing Harry. And not to mention the numerous times of attempted murder since. Like I said, highly improbable.
Then we come to the point of the 4 basic elements. These may very well point to a few candidate locations.
Fire-
Represents- Gryffindor
Now where this could be, I have no idea. The engine of the Hogwarts Express was a rather comical, and quickly fleeting idea, so I'll leave it to your own judgement. Maybe a fireplace hearth somewhere?
Water-
Represents- Slytherin
Well this idea has already been tested. The cave with the lake! But there lies a possiblity of other locations for other horcruxes. The Chamber of Secrets, The Slytherin Dorms being perfect candidates. Still, leaving to your judgement!
Air-
Represents- Ravenclaw
Well seeing as how the Ravenclaws are in a tower, this is very likely. It could be in the Room of Requirement (note the ability to transform sizes; the tiara on the wardrobe?) or just about any other tower in Hogwarts. The again, there was the idea of The Golden Snitch, though this doesnt seem to likely on my part.
Earth-
Represents- Hufflepuff
A vareity of possible locations awaits this. The forest, greenhouses, cellars, vegetable patches, all are possible locations. Plus there is the thing of Mother Earth being a vessel (cup!).
Mkay, a few of my random blabberings. Let me hear your inputs!

Here are some extended thoughts on the 7th book.
Rowling has stated in the diary on her website that she has been writing scenes that she has had in her mind for more than 12 years, and that she is 'alternately elated and overwrought' at the prospect of completing the book.
Title-
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows
The title was unveiled December 21, 2006 by Rowling on her website.
'...at the Solstice will come a new...' said the figure of an old, bearded man....
'...and none will come after...' said the figure of a young woman.
On a rather coincidental, no doubt on purpose, move by Rowling, the Winter Solstice does indeed begin on December 21, and seeing as how no books are said to follow, correlates well with the scene in the Hall of Prophecies.
The Last Chapter-
Rowling has stated in several interviews that the last chapter of the book has been written and has stated in several interviews that the last word in the book is 'scar'. Her epilogue to the story, it is said to tell the tale of what happens to the students after the story is through.
"This is the thing that I was very dubious about showing you... (T)his is the final chapter of book seven. This is really where I wrap everything up, it's the epilogue. And I basically say what happens to everyone after they leave school - those who survive - because there are deaths - more deaths coming."
- Rowling
Of Hollows & Weddings-
Harry stated at the end of the 6th book that he plans to visit Godric's Hollow over the summer and also plans to attend the wedding of Bill Weasly & Fleur Delacor after he visits the Weasly House once more.
Eeny Meeny Miny...-
Rowling has stated that 2 of the major characters are going to kick the bucket, while one got a reprieve. Who are the terminal characters?
"One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die...A price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil...They go for the main characters... well, I do".
-Rowling
Mostly Ghostly-
Rowling has stated that there will be an epiphany in Book 7 on why some people become ghosts and some do not.
"I can say that the happiest people do not become ghosts. As you might guess, Moaning Myrtle!"
-Rowling
This may provide more insight to the conversation that Harry had with Nearly Headless Nick at the end of the 5th book.
Lilly Potter
It has been reveiled that a major unveiling of information of Lilly Potter will be revealed in the Deathly Hallows.
"Now, the - the important thing about Harry's mother - the really, really significant thing - you're going to find out in two - in two parts. You'll find out a lot more about her in book five, or you'll find out something very significant about her in book five, and you'll find out something incredibly important about her in book seven."
-Rowling
Mirror, Mirror...-
The mystery of the mirror is to take place in the Hallows and it leaves one to wonder what it's purpose may be.
Sirius Black-
Rowling refuses to comment on whether Sirius will be ressurected however she says there was a reason he had to die.
R.A.B.-
In this last novel, Harry is most likely going to figure out the identity of the mysterious R.A.B. while many theories point at the brother of Sirius, Regelus. Upon this supposition, Rowling responded that it was a 'fine guess.'
Kreacher-
Kreacher may make an appearance in this 7th installment as Rowling is mentioned to have told the film makers of the 5th book to include the character as he is important.
Fawkes-
Rowling has stated that Harry may get another pet in 2001. Although this may have been Buckbeak which he inherited after Sirius' death, it is also suspected that he may inherit Fawkes.
Dolores Umbridge-
Umbridge herself is stated to have a reentry in Deathly Hallows
"It's too much fun to torture her not to have another little bit more before I finish"
-Rowling
Cuarón's Unintentional Foreshadowing-
Rowling has noticed that in the film adaptation of her 3rd book, the director had installed some points in the film that foreshadow the end of the 6th book, some even giving her goosebumps. Quick REWIND! Yes!!! Mwahahaha, Malfoy's flying note will make a debut!!!
Rita Skeeter-
Mentioned by Rowling in Edinburgh, She has stated that more is to come of Rita in the 7th book.
"She is loathsome . . . but I can't help admiring her toughness. . . . There is more to come on Rita"
-Rowling
Quidditch-
Rowling has made it quite clear that there are to be no Quidditch matches in the 7th book.
Petunia Dursley-
Rowling mentioned in an Edinburgh Book Festival that Petunia is indeed not a squib though later confirmed at Radio City that Petunia will not be performing any magic.
"..there is a little bit more to Aunt Petunia than meets the eye...She is not a squib, although that is a very good guess. Oh, I am giving a lot away here. I am being shockingly indiscreet."
-Rowling
Viktor Krum-
Yes, Hermione's 'Bulgarian Bon Bon' is supposed to make an appearance in the 7th book.
Ginny Weasly-
Rowling has mentioned of Ginny's powerful nature and that we are going to get more insight in the future.
Dumbledore-
Okay, an earlier post that I made is indeed false. It was confirmed by Rowling that Dumbledore is dead. No arguing, dead as a doornail. Though a few questions can buzz through our skulls from a few interviews.
-Boggart: Rowling responded in an interview that she cannot answer what Dumbledore's Boggart form would be. Can this be a hint to something?
-'gleam of triumph': Rowling has stated that the gleam of triumph seen in Dumbledore's eyes upon hearing of the useage of Harry's blood is enormously important.
-Invisibility Cloak: Rowling claims that Dumbledore's possesion of the cloak is a critical point to the story.
'Teacher, Teacher!'-
Someone of Harry's class, not Ron or Hermione or Harry, is supposed to become a Hogwarts teacher, this indicating that Hogwarts will indeed reopen. The only question is when...
Snape-
Long has the conflict of his loyalty been challenged. It is expected that in the 7th book, we are to see his true colors.
Harry-
-Eyes: Rowling has long been intent on the fact that Harry's eyes play a major piece in the story.
-Death?: Yes, Mistress Rowling has hinted that the death of Harry is possible, this theory only fueld by the idea of his being a Horcrux. Several interviews have steamed up this theory so who knows, maybe the boy who lived wont be living much longer...
Might post a bit more, but I think Ive set the scene for now. Any theories? Glad to hear em.

Having now read the 7th book, I have to say you made some pretty shrewd guesses on some of your theories. Good work, Mr Holmes!

Id say the only one I really hit off right was the horcrux of Ravenclaw's. So woohoo for that, heh!
