We'd like to take this time to thank all of you who have been our friends during the site renovations and throughout the past years. It is very hard to find REAL friends in this community. You are all very appreciated.

We'd also like to introduce our new system to you all. As you may have seen on some members profiles and posts, these icons listed below. You can now read the summary of each icon and what it represents.

We believe at ExnemSims that every member of the community is important. And we would like to give back to the community in return. Those of you who take your spare time to create content for this community are true gems. It is your time, your effort, your work and most of all your creativity that has helped countless people enjoy the Sims 2 in ways that were not possible before.
If you take the time to read the graph below you will notice our new perk system. This is just our way of thanking you all for your time and effort and friendship.

Clothing- is allowed ONLY IF- They are of the HIGHEST quality, and each clothing pack must contain at minimum 6 outfits. Six outfits=ONE submission.

Meshes- Again must be of high quality and ORIGINAL creations. You must submit with your meshes, the mandatory In Game pics, as well as a poly count. Please make sure to include in your post, the location in the catalog that these items will appear as well as any other special instructions and whether or not your item is recolorable. (Recolorable is prefered)

With the 25 items uploaded to the subscriber area, do they have to be posted seperately, or can they be in a set?

It doesn't matter as long as you upload 25 quality items :)

Ok, Awesome !!! :)

If you need any more clarification feel free to ask.
Things such as skins will need all 4 tones to count as one upload.
A mesh is one upload as well. Clothing has to have 6 varieties per pack and that will be one upload. So the easier things to create will need a few to each post for them to count towards your total :)
I cant wait to see what you all come up with.

What are the terms and conditions for use of the submission once I upload it?

Basically they may not be reposted on other sites if you choose to post them in our subscriber forums.

You decide if you want to allow people to recolor your creations and where those recolors may be posted. You also decide if you want to remove your creations before reaching 25 uploads, but once you reach the 25 upload goal and recieve your prize those uploads must remain here. Of course any uploads you remove will be substracted from your upload total.

Gosh, I can't believe how generous you guys are!! You are truly wonderful for doing this for the community *Squishes them all*

I don't think I'll ever make things classed as "quality", at least not for a very loooong time teehee but I do know a lot of people here who make amazing things so yaaay for them :D

Take care all of you!!!

p.s. Just noticed I don't have the supporter icon! So I will get in touch with the lovely Lyric :D

Ok, thanks. Bummer. This seems a bit light of an offer for exclusive use of quality content. You probably stand to make a lot more than you hand out.

No problem, we can work a better system out. We don't want to make money off of anyone's creations, we want to give the opportunity to other creators to recieve something in return for their work.

The problem is I also have to think about our members and I don't think many of them would be happy to pay to get something here and then recieve it free in another site for example.

So, do you have any ideas for a better system? We want to offer our members a great site with great downloads, but we also aknowledge that if it wasn't for talented creators people wouldn't have new things for their game, so our priority is to make creators feel comfortable and appreciated, not the other way around.

This is just a system we thought could encourage some creators to make better things and recieve something in return, because we also think the better the creator feels, the better things members recieve.

So please, don't be shy and let us know if you have any other ideas for a better working system that could benefit everyone.

I thought this system was beyond generous. It is so kind of you and I don't see any issue. After all, a site as amazing as this takes a lot of hard work and a lot of money to run. So, who cares if you get more for it. You need it, and, I think you totally and utterly deserve it :D :D :D

And, who cares if we don't get much from it? We don't create to get paid for it.

So I am beyond happy with this system. You are so sweet and kind for doing it. No other sim site out there would do this. It just goes to show how totally amazing and unbeatable you are in the sims community.

If you can't tell, I love you guys ;) *Starts squealing like the crazy fangirly she is* Haha okay, my bed calls. Speak to you tomorrow!!!

wow thamks for the oppotunity to creators. i hope to create some things one day. i used to try out stuff for the first sims games. dont think i'll be as good as you guys :)

oh and the way i see it, creators will be getting acess to subscriber area for free, so that would be a big benefit.
You also are offering a prize too.

Also creators get to showcase items for free, I know some sites charge for this.

I agree that there needs to be guidelines/ terms in place for the items and that they shouldn't be posted elsewhere for free as that would be unfair to donators.
I'm thinking if someone made a set and offered an item from the set for free elsewhere that would be different, people would have to donate to get the rest of the stuff.

thanks again xxx

oh and where can one learn how to make cool items? esp hacked?

I've been thinking about this a lot hehe I already have hundreds (Maybe a bit of a stretch but still a lot ;)) of ideas of things to make... I love playing around fairytale themes (SnowWhite, Cinderella etc...) but the only thing like that out there is your hansel and Gretl range, which I LOVE!!! I would adore it if you made more things for that :love5: I also am crazy for sim hairstyles!!! But, seeing as I can't mesh yet it will be a while to do :sad8: But I really hope to learn :)

You have no idea how much I would love to have some of my creations on this site... It would make my dream complete :angel7: As you can probably tell by my complete enthusiasm in everything I so love this site, and I love being part of it!!! This perk system is incredible but I would be more than happy to make things for this site, thats a perk in itself :D And hopefully, one day, I might be able to!

I think the perk system is a great idea! I just hope you benefit enough to pay the site bill still. And you should if you haven't already create a quality guildline for the pay area submission

It really is a great setup. The staff of exnem here really know how to take care of the people who spend hours to help make this place worthwhile. Admirable. Now I need to get off my lazy bum and learn to configure so I can help out, lol.

This system is Great! :D

Is there others ways to donate from other countries beside using paypal? (I don't have credits or debits card). :(

I like to donate to this site because I like the uploads you have at MTS2 last time. The drink machine is fun. :D
