Hello Everybody. I am new to the site. I first came across Exnem's wonderful creations at Mod The Sims 2. Then I downloaded more at TSR. I was finally able to find this site. I just got OFB this Christmas and I am having a lot ot trouble with it. I have ordered the Guide but was informed by Amazon.com that I would not get it until February. This was a change from the original shipment date so they must have run out of it. I have been having a lot of trouble with the J'Dore Bakery. My Sims can buy but not eat anything they get there! I have tried going in with the owner and changing the stock but the MoveObjects cheat will not work there. I have tried getting the Sims from the Greek houses to buy the unuseable food but although I get a message saying the crafted items are out of stock and need more to be made, when I go back with the owner they are all still on the shelves. I have tried playing the store but all that is selling is the geletin. The Store is now in the red and the family is almost broke without my solving the problem. Any advice would be welcome.

I'm not familiar with the J'Dore Bakery, does it come with the expansion or did you download it somewhere?... Also are you selling actual foods there or just decorative items?

The bakery comes with the expansion pack, in Bluewater Village. Perhaps I spelled it wrong. J'Adore might be the right spelling. As far as I can tell all the items that came in the bakery chill cases are actual food items that can be made. They include berry pie, cake, and baked alaska a well as the geletin that is selling.

The J'Adore Bakery is more of a pastry shop than a true bakery. I hope to create my own Sim Bakery someday with food items that the sims can actually eat. But that will have to wait until I know what I am doing. If I can't even manage the J'Adore Bakery which is already set up that does not bode well for any Bakery that I create. I am looking forward to more breads, ect. from your site.

Hey hon, Im not sure about the items showing and not showing. But as far as restocking any edible foods, you need a sim to actually make them in the kicthen. If you direct your sim to the refridgerator youll see the option to Make Many... if you have them bake, the items end up in their inventory and you can then restock the shelves manually.

Yes but you have to get rid of the items that can't be eaten and I have not managed to do that! Even though my Sims have bought the items and they appear to be gone, when I go into the shop with the owner they are back again! I have food in stock but the only the out of stock items can be manually restocked. The game will not let me delete the items that can be bought but not eaten.

AHhh ok let me see if I understand you better. You have non edible food items for sale that you want to get rid of and replace with edible ones?
Hav eyou removed them from being on sale and then tried deleting them? Use the same tagging option to remove them from sale. Then try deleting and moveobjects on

Thank you. All the items are suppose to be eatable but once bought and taken home cannot be eaten. I will try your suggestion as I did not remove them from being on sale.

I still cannot delete them but once taken off sale, I have been able to direct that they be cleaned up. Thank you very much. I read in a post at the offical site that the installing process makes them uneatable. Also that there in a glitch in the J'Dore Bakery. I hope not. So I am in the process of 'cleaning up' all the food in the chill counters and replacing it with new food. I have had to use the family funds cheat. I am also going to have to use the turn aging off cheat until I get everything straightened out.
