Hello everyone! My name is Mandi and I am new to this site. I think that all the content of this site is excellent. The objects are great and the pictures are funny :laughing3: Anyways, I am a licensed veterinary technician and willing to help anyone with their animal questions if I can, so just let me know. Right now, I only have Sims 2 original, but have Nightlife on the way. I can't wait till Open for Business comes out. I admire all of those that can make new objects and things. I have tried to figure out how to do it. I have read tutorials, and downloaded the programs, but I am still not able to get it 100%. So if anyone out there is patient and willing to help me understand it a little better, that would be appreciated. I have so many ideas. Anyway, this is a great site, and all you modders keep up the great work. :notworthy:

Hi Mandi :hello2: Welcome to the forum :D
I too am totally in awe of all the creators here and elsewhere. I have also tried and tried again and failed. That's why I download alot
I have a question about my cat. Why do they(cats in general)sit facing a wall and act like somethings there when there's not, or look over your shoulder like they're staring at something when there's nothing but a wall behind you  Kinda spooky if you ask me  I just chalk it up to Catantics :D

Hello Moonsong,
About that cat, I have one, a gorgeous all white medium length hair darling named Precious. She not only stares at things that aren't there, she plays with things that aren't there and occaisionally also jumps in panic and runs like crazy away from things that aren't there.
My theory is this:
99% of the universe we inhabit is "dark matter"...detected by scientists with various instuments that measure mass and gravity. We cannot detect these with our senses. I believe cats can somewhat or maybe entirely.
Just a theory...having to do with quantum physics and the like.

just want to say hi,I was once a vet nurse and I think personally cats are just mentally unbalanced!mine is also a real nutter, but that just adds to her charm.ok so they are weird staring a nothing and playing with imaginary mice...they are unpredictable and not all there upstairs, but thats what makes them interesting
