View Full Version : Harry Potter Theme Park !?

Yes it's true. Rowling herself has given the go ahead on this and were expecting a new island in Orlando with the Islands Of Adventure theme park by late 2009. The lead designer is supposed to be the same guy who directed artistic design in the movies and there is supposed to be some new fantastic innovation which has yet been established, but is supposed to totally immerse visitors. Knoew places that will be set up are Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest. Tell us what you think! :)

Maybe not so much a theme park,unless they have some rides in there, than it is a decorative place.. nonetheless, neat.

Ive heard theyre supposed to have a few rides but its that new innovation I mentioned that everyone's excited about. I kinda find it hard to imagine a Quidditch: The Roller Coaster though, I dunno though, thats just me, lol. Ooh! A Kiddy ride! Professor Sprout's Toadstool Hop!

o0o But how cool would a roller coaster be if the seats were like broomsticks! lol Ok im being silly but it looks amazing to me.

I heard there will be some rides, also. Even if there weren't, being totally immersed in the world of Harry Potter would be cool. It would be cool if they could somehow include some Diagon Alley shops, although I haven't heard anything. I would buy a wand at Ollivander's in a heartbeat.

Oh, I would love a Diagon Alley. Its one of my favorite places in the wizarding world. The idea of the old shops in a creaky alley with all the sights and everything. I would go crazy for something like that, lol. We can only hope...
