Italian Cuisine Collection #1

Bongiorno!

Today we bring you another little piece of Italy. Most famous for their cuisine probably, and amongst all their different staple dishes, spaghetti is probably the most recongized. This is the start of a nice collection of italian foods. We already have pizzas which you can get in our food sections but we will try to make more pastas, salads and desserts (suggestions welcome).

Important: You need to download and install the PLATE file for the foods to work, ALL the spaghetti files are linked to this file so don't forget to get it, regardless of which files you install.

How to use:

These are cookable foods, which means that your sims will be able to cook them in their homes or restaurants when they have the necessary cooking skill points (the same for default spaghetti). These will appear in the "Dinner" cooking menus.

If you want sellable/buyable versions of these that do not require cooking let me know.

Here are some other suggestions for Italian food:

Main Plate:Lasagne,Tortellini...
Dessert:Pannacotta,Tartuffo,Tiramisu...
Salad:Tomato-mozarella-basil salad,italian salad(pepperoni,olives etc)

I'm an italian girl and I would suggest you some food:
Ravioli, Mixed fried fish, Risotto, Milanese cutlet, various kinds of coldmeats and salami.
I like all foods listed by Dolcezza, most of all Tiramisu, Pannacotta and Salads!

I love all these foods they are great !! Now I can make a great restaurant for my sims.

Suggestions :Chicken Toscana, Mussels Napoletana, garlic shrimp scampi, gnocchi, ravioli ,tortellini, manicotti, chicken parmigiana,chicken piccatta, chicken saltimbocca, Paesano submarino, panini bello.
Soups: minestrone, chicken papparadelle noodle, pasta and fagioli. Salads:Bacon and bleu Antipasto Caprese.
Dessert:Cannoli, tiramisu,biscotti sfogliatelle, Ciambelles.

we don't use eat pasta with any kind of meat.

you can do "spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino".

But I was wondering, if the names of the food are supposed to appear in the fridge menu, because all I see is Spaghetti 1, spaghetti 2 .... unless they are not compatible with the bon voyage expension pack

Hi my name is Alessio and I'm italian.
I believe that I can help you on some things...
Please update your food with right italian translation!

Mushrooms= Funghi

Tomato sauce= al sugo

Marinara sauce: Doesn't exist "Pasta alla Marinara" (pasta with fishes), but only Risotto alla marinara (Rise, not pasta!), so I believe that you can change the name with "Pasta all' Amatriciana", that contain different things (fried bacon, for example) but in the picture I can't see the difference and it's most popular here!

Chicken: chicken??? Who eat pasta with chicken? Nobody in Italy. (however... chicken= pollo)

Alfredo sauce= Linguine allo scoglio
