Just a quick post, I only just found this site.

I must admit I was astounded by the content. I'm wasn't 'forced' to subscribe because of the 'dangly bits'. But by the fact the creators have made 'oldies' that look OLD.

No more just throw some grey hair on a sim and it will do, I now have some skin tones that actually age. I do hope that you continue to make these 'aging' sims, to me this is what make your content/site unique.

I've noticed the aging effect is only on certain skin tones, hopefully as time permits a second pass will have more 'wrinkles' added.

The only 'critique' I could add is that the pale skin tones can seem a little 'reddish' in game (although this doen't appear in the 3DMAX screenshots. Its probably down to how Sims 2 renders.

But all in all, I must congratulate you on your content. I can see a lot of hard work has gone into your creations. I love that fact you add these blemishes and don't go for the 'perfect' look (as do most other sites), it probably takes a lot more work to do so.

So 'Huzzah', and thanks for the content :)

Hey Toast

Welcome! And thanks for all your comments. We are very happy to see that you appreciate the work that goes nto creating these skins. We also think that like with people, not all sims should be always pretty and with prefect skin. In reality, only a handful of people (mostly the ones you see on TV) have perfect skin or beautiful faces. That doesn't mean we only make skins for ugly sims, but I think it's just as great to be able to make glamorous sims as it is to make ordinary, realsitic looking ones.

Anyway, thanks for your comments, I hope you have a great time with us.

Toast!
Could you get the file posted for the old dude with the beard and hat? I love him...He is perfect.
Or maybe you could e-mail him to me? Please?
Thanks in advance  I think I'm in love!!!

Well its just Sim Vault and Maxis content on that character. I'm not sure what the rules are for emailing the custom content part. But I'll happily send the file to Sim Vault and let them decide if necessary......

Seriously tho, its good fun making old Sims, they just seem to have so much character compared to the other ages. All my Sims have a 'country' feel to them as I'm making a Sims version of Cicely, Alaska (or the town from 'Northern Exposure').

But I'd be quite happy to email the package file if I get the go ahead (I know you have to be careful about this stuff). I hope you don't feel I'm being too cautious :?

Thank you so much...my ol' gal will be so pleased.
I noticed that his baby and child form also have beards...Did you know that?
Not that it matters, he will be an oldster to start with.
Abigail needed a new love interest, her old beau is just too cranky!
Thanks again.

Eeeeew 'bearded' babies, I though Bill might have a dark secret, but I'd never have guessed THAT

I must admit when I make 'oldies' I almost never regress them in age. I like to mess around with the features to make them look a bit 'saggy' (I know the feeling), so they never look good younger. As the characters keep the same face shape from YA onwards, they never look 'right' as oldies. But then that doesn't happen in RL, I guess that a good job because there would be a lot of cosmetic companies out of business

Let me know if Bill rushes a certain someone off her feet, or if he ends up just watching the TV all day :)

Hi,
Her name isn't Abigail. What was I thinking? It's Adeline Giulliard.
As soon as he got into his house, here she came ringing his doorbell. Two other visitors showed up shortly afterward, but by then she and Bill were chatting away. In only two conversations they had a score of 15...so I think we have a winner. Her old boyfriend only has a 7...they just kept arguing.

I named Bill ...Bill Barnes...and they both live in Cape Pernia. Her house is two blocks away, so she made good time for an old lady....hee hee heee.
