Hello. Are you a sims addict? Do you download mad quantities of stuff? When in public do you see houses or people and want to go home and recreate them in game? If so, you've come to the right place. Here at SSG, Sims Support Group, you can talk freely and openly about your addiction. No one here will ridicule you, or call you crazy for we all share the same addiction. Feel free to regale us with just how deep your addiction goes. We understand.
I'll go first.

ok my crazy ass will post
Im Lyric
Im sickeningly addicted to clutter items, and toys and baby items tho I never play with sim children. Im also addicted to boxes- i dont know why. plants and water features too
I look at houses in real life and assess whether or not I could recreate them based on the roofing and doors the house has. I also do this to people I see "Would they sim well?" or "holy crap theyd be one ugly sim"
I have over 12 GB of content, my game crashed constantly but i refuse to get rid of it.
Im kinda pathetic aren't I. If anyone wants to throw rocks at me it's ok you have my permission.

Hi Lyric, and welcome. *Hugs*
There will be no stonings here. This is a place to talk openly and without fear. You are not pathetic, simply one who has fuly embraced her Simness. Stand tall and hold your head high, there is nothing wrong with what you do.

Hola
Mi nombre es Cliff... and yeah
for all of us you cant speak Spanish like me ;)
I am a builder, not really a simmer. I enjoy architecture on such a level so as to be called passionate. I see tons of houses that I would love to build for my although I maybe get a few done sadly, due to such a fleeting schedule. Still, I am madly in love with custom build content and will download mass quantities of it in bulk, lol.

Hiya Cliff *Hugs*
You are a most welcome addition to our group. After all a Sims addiction is a Sims addiction whether it be downloading, creating custom content, or, as in your case, building wonderful lots.

.. *meep*
My name is Marie.
And, sadly, like the rest of you, I am addicted to my beloved Sims2.
My passion? I like to build, but not nearly as skilled as that of Cliffy or AudLuvsVegas on MTS2. I also enjoy entering beauty contests, but unfortunately, my picture taking skills lack in vital areas, so I vainly and repeatedly enter in hopes of getting past applications. *sobs*
Pity me.

Good evening Marie, welcome *Hugs*
Do not be sad about your addiction. It is something to be embraced and touted openly. I share your pain about contests, for I too have entered many only to be denied. One day, your Sims prowess will be recognized, and until then you have us.

lol XD *hugs Zelda* I have a new sim coming out (lol is this a factory?!) that I hope will get recognition. I have gone to great lengths to dig up material for her. (skins, makeup, etc. ;))
*sigh*
I'm crazy. Stone me, too.

I backed up all my Sims stuff last night cause I have the funny feeling that my computer is going to act up soon, and after all was said and done, I wound up with 2 dvds of downloads alone. My addiction has cost me 10 gig worth of space on my hard drive, and I am still downloading stuff on an almost daily basis.
