Hey everyone, members and friends.

We bring you this site news today to ask for your opinions. The forum will be undergoing some cleaning soon. Some forums will be tidied up, others may be saying goodbye.

The staff here strive to make you all happy. We want this site to be a home for our members and someplace that you enjoy spending time and making friends across the world. It is very important to us to have your feeedback to know what you want and don't want for this site.

Due to member requests we have created the arcade, spam forums, role play forums.

Now we want even more feedback.

Our role play forum has been very quiet as have the contests forums. We'd like to remind you all that there is no moderation on these forums and ANYONE can create contests and role plays as they wish. We here rely on a trust system and ask only that if you chose to create a contest that you stay attenticve to it. We want you all to enjoy your time here and we treat all members as responsible adults unless proven differently.
Howevere these forums are silent. So members of exnemsims.... should we keep them or send them to bed?

We've also been toying with the idea of other social forums, such as rants, or art forums. We'd like to know what YOU want.

Please post your suggestions here so we can create an even better, friendlier, and more comfortable home for all of you!!!

I think that the front page could be reworked. And if we could somehow recruit more artists, then the site could hopefully pick up a bit... I dunno. We're in a bit of a dark spot I suppose. Let's just manage to pull us out of it...

Cliffy I hope that people know they can upload here as they like, and if they are a pretty established creator and want their own section they can have that too.

I'd like to see more people posting and having fun most of all tho.

right now Im getting to the point were I need a realy good reason to play the sims. Ive done a lot in the game and some times it all frustrates me, I tell a sim to do this or do that and they just wont lisen! exspeshaly when I want sims to stand next to each other and pose with out talking or dansing or playing around. that plus the fact that it takes months to build a neighborhood just so I can play for a few weeks with the one family I like. contests have given me a lot of motivation to download and try new things and learn new ways to take photos but they also frustrait me for the reasons I just gave. I might put things on hold and play other games a while untill the urg to play really comes back.

but I still like this webstie. its small enough that I don't feel overwhelmed but big enogh that I feel its worth my time.

I do feel like the formums get almost no activity but I do see enough repeat viseters that there are people to talk to. I don't feel like Im on some forum were people are saying "stfu noob or get off the internet"
and some of the coolest down loads are on this site too I look forward to a lot of updates. I ask questions and I get answers its a nice palce.

however there are not enogh people hear to make a lot of activities worth it.

I have never had any Site Issues or glitches other then one time I won a prize and wasnt able to down load it but I think if I ever get a prize again that we all know what to do now so it should be fine.

I never use the chaterbox but I think every web site should have one

Sim Stories is a nice place to expess ones self but I don't know how many people read any one's work. people dont often comment on stories. I dont like a lot of chater between chapters but I do love hearing feed back on stories.

man I need motivation to keep mine goping too.

Sims 2 Help is nice because every one needs help but the response time and number of knoligable people on line is very low. when people have problems they want answerers NOW ! people who get mad at the game dont think clearly enough to wait around for answerers. I find sims2 or Gaia online do faster sims helping.

Sim Customization Tutorials...most of the good ones are on mod the sims 2. I havnt been to that forum but if I had a question I wouldnt want to hear "go to mod the sims 2 Im too lazzy to tell you stuff" so I hope people on that forum are actually helpful.

Sims Lost & Found is a good forum but I dont always remember it.

Sims 2 Requests nobody takes requests, ever. I ask and ask and never get any thing done by any one. that forum needs talented charitable hard working honest people who love a chalenge and will take it on and finish the job in a weeks time
I dont think any ones ever had a request done. and Ive now learned how to use boddy shop so I dont need to ask for help unless its an idea I really cant do on my own.

Official Contests are fun and we can win prizes but Ive already discussed the pros and cons to those

Picture Challenges, Other Challenges, Member Contests, Im not shore we need all 3 of those they could be condensed in to one forum and sevral sub forums my reproduce a classic painting has not been posted in since september! Im verry disapointed that no one has atempted any picture challenges. I would have assumed that those would ahve been the best part of the whole web site.

role playing...I love to role play but I do role plays on Gaiaonline.com PM kaykeyser for one! I like to get gold for my role plays

those other forums I haven't looked at yet because I havnt seen them before.


a few forums I would love to see

A place to rant about sims 2 problems
a place to brag about sims 2 achievements and discoveries
a palce to discuss other maxis or other sim games or other cusimisable games and to upload and down load content for other games like sims 1 or sim city or some thing like that.
a place to discuss diferent EPs
a place to show off sims we made but wont upload for what ever reason and do discuss how to make sims, what skin to down load to make the things we mod.
a place to share links to fav web sites
a place to share downloads of sims music
if such places exist already give me links maybe I missed them.
but a problemb I see often is that a lot of topics go days and weeks and months with out activety.

I would be highly disappointed if I lost my reproduce a classic painting contest or had any of my other topics ignored or deleted.

I would like to keep the contests open. I want to make one but 2 reasons I havent are...
1. No one ever joins my contests :( I must stink at it..lmao
2. Lack of time right now..
was hoping to do a christmas themed one but only have one round planned out..lmao..
As for the role playing aaaaa I can go either way with that. I mean they are fun but at the same time long & drawn out..

I would like a problem page so that all the problems for the sims could be fixed
and I wouldnt mind having a new front page, it would look way better in the future. I'm not saying that the front page is bad its nice but you can do way better like how you make your objects. :D

A new frontpage would be good.... go all modern with modern backgrounds and glass boxes with images of your content in.. like those Sky™ adverts. If you don't know how to create glass boxes (that's if you're interested in the idea) I could write you a tutorial using Photoshop CS. Wil xx

retrorut, Im not sure what you mean by problem page. Would you like to explain it a little more please?

If you do decide to go with the glassbox/ modern theme for your front page, I made this glass box so you can use it! The actual glass box is a completely different layer to the text and clouds, and the transparent box itself can be copied and pastyed onto any texture and will still remain transparent. You need photoshop to open the .psd picture, because .psd pictures don't auto-flatten and save in layers! Here's the box:

I love the contests here too...but again, with danish school and other commitments it is hard for me right now...LL, can I ask one thing? A login at the main page...if it is there I must be blind...but I just couldnt find it and recently had to wipe out all my cookies and temp files so I had to login today...it took awhile before i could figure out how to do it...it could be me just being blind...or too much wine...or...or..but a login with flashing red lights might work hahaha! :P

retro we do have a requests section, but just very few people who can fill requests. Look at the forum index and youll spot it
