Families Are not moving

I build and decorated a house beautifully, and now my family is just stuck in the front of the house, I deleted the family and went back to the neighborhood and went back into the house and they are still stuck in the same place please what do I do? I don't want to have to move my family out and redecorate cause it took me 2 day to build and decorate. If anyone has any suggestions please help

Mnphats- it sounds like a corrupt download. this happened to me before.
The way to test this for certain is

Move your downloads folder to your desktop and start your game
Load that house and if your family does move then you know it is a download. If they do move- exit but DO NOT save.

Youll then have to filter your downlaods folder to narrow it down to the bad download. This may not even be a download you used on that lot.

The easist way to do this is to put back half of your downloads, boot up and see if they move. If they do then you know its in the other half thats not installed,

repeat the process using half of the downlaods left on the desktop and slowly youll narrow it down to the one buggered item.

I heard of that problem, by the way where can I get myself the illuminated shelving? I need it for my experimental sims on my laptop :)
