This really annoys me how ungratefull and arrogant some people are. For instance subscriptions for downloads. As long as its their work and its good, I'm quite happy to pay for subscription. The items on this web site are brilliant, and damn it if they aren't hard to do and take hours and hours. Ive tried, its like learning a whole new talent, you need to spend days just to learn how to use the programs that are out there, plus you have to pay for some of them. And bandwhith isn't cheap, and I dont know about having a site, but there's bound to be some cost involved there.
Another example is when it comes to free tv, its free ! so don't whinge if you can get the tv episode illegally downloaded days earlier. Whinge when they dont show your show or stop and start it (which I find really annoying).
Anyway, thats my rant. I have other things to rant about, but if I do, people will think Im just a whinger.
Merry Christmas

Deeney I love your rant, and have to agree with most of it. This forum is for ranting tho so rant til you cant rant no more! lol
I think my take on the issue isnt so much the expecting things. I know alot of people do get very demanding and all. I think for me its the lack of respect that some people give to others.
If you don't agree with your neighbors religion, or their parenting or how they run their life, you certainly don't barge in their home, force your religion on them, your beliefs and such.
A community to me is just like a neighborhood online. We are all diffferent, we all believe different things, and do things for different reasons. If people don't agree they should just walk away.
Hugs to you!

 Hey I gotta join this rant. I just can't get over the complaints of when some seem to have trouble with a download. I test everything and share between a few other people most of the objects I make, especially if there is some modding involved more than just a non interactive mesh before ever uploading anything to be shared with the community. Yes and the word "Shared" needs to be capitalized, underlined and done in extra large red print. Yet still some may either not have the correct ep or have a hack or something else interfering with an objects performance in their game. This seems to give them the right to throw a hissy, hey if there's a serious problem with something I made, I do want to know. But not in an open assualt. Most never take a moment to thank me when they are happy with something, yet they are quick to send a lynching mob if they are not happy.
(Funny I get pm's from members telling me how much they like my work, then the complaints fly over the open forum, :dontknow: seems backwards to me)I do this because this is how I play the game, I make stuff, I share with the community because I want to, not have to.
The internet is a funny place where many forget and fail to use any kind of etiqette. We need to try using some restraint and remember there is more than a machine on the other end of that cyber line.
Lol, lets all play nice...:joker:
