One week ago, I played the Sims and it worked perfectly. This morning I went to start the Sims and it wouldn't load. I switched over to another account on the same computer and started the game and it ran just fine. I would be forever grateful if someone can help me with my problem, as I really need the game to run under the one account name because it has contest and story sims, which I stupidly forgot to package so I have them just in case.
I have all the expansion packs and none of the stuff packs.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions you might have. :love1:

Z did you delete groups cache? It happens to me ALL the damn time. Its in your My Documents/Ea Games/Sims 2 folder
find that file and delete it. The game will load a bit longer as its regenerating the first time.
let me know if that works.

Its Located in
My Documents/Ea Games/Sims 2 folder
I know you can go inside of the thumbnails folder and delete those as well, it will regenerate your catalogue thumbnails but again it will take longer to load the first time out.
I am not positive about the accessories cache but Ill try to find out for you :)
Edit: Yes you can delete accessories cache, it will regenerate too. You dont have to tho.
