Parenting at it's finest

A friend sent me a lnk to this youtube video, and it made me want to either retch or smack someone. Instead though I am gonna rant about it.

What is wrong with those parents? Do they really think they are doing their daughter, or themselves any good? I mean come on, waiting hand and foot on your teenage daughter, giving her gifts everyday, not expecting her to do any work at all, and doing her homework. What are they teaching her? That her only value is in her looks and that she doesn't need anything else to get by on in life. What happens when she gets old and her beauty fades? What happens when all she has left in her life is memories of when she was pretty?

And yet, she feels sorry for all us plain, intelligent, working stiffs. Isn't her concern touching?

I know first hand about spoilt teenagers, though I'm not one my 13 year old brother is! Such a spoilt brat just because he was the last born, always gets what he wants! If someone won't do what he tells them to do he'll chuck a hissy-fit and call them bad names, he's such a smart-arse.

I know when I have kids I won't raise them like that!

This little gal will get an education all right. The real world will give it to her. The sad part is it up to us parents to teach her while she's at home and safe. When she's out on her own, and it will happen - mom and dad can't live forever you know. It'll hit her like a ton of bricks. Her husband, if she gets one, will not put up with it, her boss - when she finally has to get a job, won't put up with it. She'll be a bit angry, but too bad. Everyone has life lessons to learn.....

she'll probably grow up and marry some bloke with more money than sense, who looks like he's been hit in the face with a bag of spanners, but the "beautiful" girls will drape off his arm because he has some money to spend. Her life will be empty, she will not know what real love is as she is will be too in love with herself. I have 2 boys, and i would seriously kick off if either of them dared to bring someone like that into my house!!
