Customizable Buffet Tables - AMAZING!

Howdy!

Well... you've probably seen our new "charge for plate" foods (link: http://exnemsims.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2757)... Now this is the perfect companion for them.

This is a new customizable buffet table, and used in conjunction with our sellable foods it's the perfect way to set up a truly working and effective food joint.

Maxis original buffet table and our previous buffet table cannot be customized so you're stuck with one type of food through all your restaurants, and the original maxis one doesn't even let you charge for plate so your sims can't make money with it, not good for business.

There's 2 variants of our new buffet table. Each is 3 tiles long, but the first one (001) is only for placing foods, the second one however only has 1 food spot in the center and the rest of the table works like a dinning table, so your sims can sit and eat and have their food right there so they can grab it.

Included in this post is a recolors file that has 42 different recolors for each subset (2 subsets) so thats about 1764 different combinations you can get :P. Recolors include different type of sauces and toppings, so you can set sweet/salty menus as needed.

NOTE: The second table uses the "Repository Technique", which means it uses all the recolors of the original table, so the second table will only work if you have the first installed. It also means that any recolors you make for the first table will automatically work for the second ;)

Very, very cool. It's always bothered me that all the Maxis buffet tables were alike and (like you said) they weren't equipped for realistic restaurant situations. Lots of recolors make these even more useful. Awesome stuff.

Great job. These do look nice with your foods.

But they are just normal tables right? I mean, can you place ANY food on it and make money, or is it just yours? Out of curiosity.

But back to the tables, these look like they have amazing textures and such, judging by the screens. Do you dream in table recolors now? :-D

you can place ANY foods on the table, but you can only charge per plate on the foods we have made because they have a special code.

hi, i placed the table in my restaurant but people wont eat from it.. when i click charge per plate the wont pick one. and when i just click it for sale they buy the whole plate like in a shop.. what am i doing wrong?

I saw this object & had to register and pay my membership dues so I could have it. Great mod! I'm gonna get a lot of use out of it - I've been wanting to make a a buffet-style restaurant and was about to resort to putting up the regular buffet table and making my sims pay by the hour. This is much, much better - thanks!

$5? I'm surprised that's all you're asking for. These are like the best quality of downloads I've seen on any wesbite. You think it's real photographs. There are these paysite (I'm not naming any! :laughing6: ) that ask for more than they should.
