Yes! I returneth for another priceless rant of epic proportions! Ive found something else to rant and whine about! So, what is it this time... ah "Dangerous" Dogs... nice touchy subject there for some!
Why dangerous dogs? well, i dont know how it works outside the UK, but here they have a "list" of what they term as dangerous dogs, whole breeds of them - and i own one. Ladies and Gents I am the scourge of society, I am one of those "chavs" who own a big dog cos it makes me look "hard." I own... a Rottweiler. (bearing in mind a pervious rant on "normal" I am also a Goth, Lesbian, and generally not "normal" so therefore am doomed to burn in the eternal fires of Hell. (Presumably with my devil dogs baying for new blood entering therein)
I personally get very annoyed and sometimes upset at the extreme reactions when walking my dog, I had one bloke back off so much he almost got ran over. I have excellent control of my dog, contrary to what i normally see with many owners being walked by their dogs, pulling, straining and wheexing away on the leash, barking and growling at any other dogs passing by, my dog walks to heal at all times on (or off the leash) and is calm with other dogs (even when they grown and bark at him as they feel threatened by him) of course if my dog growled back then it would be my fault and my dog being agressive... *sigh* our dog is trained by a police dog handler. Ultimately a dog - any dog no matter how big or small can be agressive and can attack, not just dogs like mine. Ultimately it is the owners responsibility to train and train and train some more.
Im tired of people thinking that their dogs are "just playing" when they growl, bark or go for other dogs - no, they are being agressive - train them!! My dog is beautifully behaved, but already has his label (like many of us humans already have)
I thank ya! :protest:
