Problems after downloading objects

Hey everybody!
I am a new member of EXNEM'S SIMS (I am 8 years old and from Sweden so my pa has helped me a lot with translating this message to english) and I have downloaded some objects (for example Burger World, duckling donoughts and the Arcadia set). To start with they worked very well but then when I had downloaded the Arcadia set something strange happened - the game started "from the beginning", everything I had saved (for example families, buildings and so forth) was gone. Only Arcadia set remained of those things i had downloaded from here as well as everything else I had downloaded from internet. On the other hand some of those things look strange, like they had become a combination of the downloaded item and something from the original game. For example I downloaded Tiger (from Arcadia set) and suddenly the figure became a mix between Tiger and an ordinary teddy bear in the original game!!!

Why is that? Has anybody else had that experience and what on earth should I do to solve the probleme??:sad2:

That is very strange indeed. I have never heard of anyone having problems like the ones you mention, and I don't think any of the files here could have caused that as we check them thoroughly before posting them and all our lots come clean of hacks and other malicious stuff. The only thing I can suggest is to reinstall your game and expansions in order and see if that fixes your problem.
