Sims not staying at work or school

The sims go to work or school and then a couple of hours later they transport back home and it says they have missed a day of work or school. Please give me some suggestions that I could do to solve this problem. Thanks

Which expansions do you have?
Do you have any hacks or custom careers?

I have all the expansion packs and i just have the teacher hack. Should I delete the teacher hack?

WHat you should do it moev that hack to your desktop, and try the game without it. If it works properly without then there is your problem. If you;ve installed a new expansion its possible it doesnt work properly with that hack anylonger
